Two Thousand and Twenty Five Horizons

Season’s greetings to all our wonderful friends and patrons. We appreciate you witnessing our devotional practice of art making, exploring color, and providing a medium through which the spirit of non human world can be expressed. Our work with dye plants is a method of communing with the unseen, and allowing the hidden magic of the world around us to be shared in a harmonious expression. Across all seasons the work reflects the communion of thought, forms, water, plant, and man. We reflect on this collaboration with gratitude as we continue to generate expressions of watery landscapes and limitless horizons.

A New Years Sale.

We are excited to announce our first painting sale to call in the new year. During our first season we were delighted to find homes for nearly every one of the works in our larger Pond series. These pieces come together slowly, as we first dye larger canvases at the indigo vat, divide these into several flower baths, and finally piece them together at our home studio. The vibrating images created were inspired by a hike Dan & I went on with my parents to celebrate my father’s 60th birthday. We hiked 26 miles of “The Beaten Path,” a gorgeous, alpine-lake filled trek through the Absaroka-Beartooth mountains
